Cage-free Campaign

In our 2026 Cage-free roap map, consistent awareness campaign is top on our list. This is the reason the campaign continued, to reach other members of the public in Dugbe Mokola axis of Ibadan, where sales of eggs are prevalent.

In the coming months, the Animal Protection Organization of Nigeria will extend the campaign to Abuja, Lagos, and Edo state so as to have a robust awareness campaign.

The northern part of Nigeria is excluded from our campaign at the moment due to present insecurity which has rendered the northern Nigeria as flash point notorious for kidnapping, banditry, and extremism. The safety of our volunteers and staff are important and cannot be traded.

We are happy to express our gratitude to volunteers and other members of APON who have dedicated their time and resources to this campaign.

The following members of our organization have demonstrated gallantry and willingness to speak for animals fearlessly: Comrade Jonathan Okpaire, Dr. Gboyega Oni, Abdulaziz, James, Idris, Rosemary Osilama, Funmilayo Oluwaranti, and Kunle Kelekun.
